Crumbs, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Summer's already in the rear-view mirror, and no doubt in the next week or so, supermarkets will decide it's a lovely time to start stocking mince pies and remind everyone that there's only about 14 shopping weeks until Christmas.
It's been a slow, frustrating time with my writing. I think everyone goes through peaks and troughs with their own feelings about their work. Unfortunately, I'm currently languishing at the bottom of a trough, but I guess the "glass half full" side of the argument is that it should be better soon if I'm moving towards a peak.
Anyway, Intertwined is still in the works, I'm currently about 40% done with the first draft. Spark of Humanity is still looming ahead of me with the final changes. It's coming up on 2 years since Life Support launched, so I really need to get it finished now, if only to be able to focus the other projects waiting not so patiently in the wings.
There's also some shorter stories in the mix, some of which have spun out of the roleplaying game I've been planning.
So hopefully I'll have some more writing out soon. The last quarter of the year usually gets me more inspired, as everyone gears up for National Novel Writing Month, so I'm quite looking forward to seeing what happens.
