I finished the revision on the first draft of Intertwined today. The biggest challenge now is not to tinker too much. I did that for two years with Spark of Humanity.
While I work on a cover design this week, I'll still be carrying on writing Eight Minutes, which has grown to 50,000 words so far, and I'm nowhere near the mid-point of the story. So there's going to be a lot of work to do to pare it down into the finished tale.
I am still writing every day. It really is a habit now - I can't not do it. So to anyone trying to write out there, just keep going every day. Set a target and make sure you hit it. Finish mid-sentence if you have to, so that you've got somewhere to pick up from straight away the next day. If I can write every day, you can too.
